A wonderful card from Russia! The deepest and one of the oldest lakes in the world-Baikal. It seems not of this world or like from a fairy tale ;)

 

If I didn't receive this postcard I wouldn't even know that it's so beautiful ;)

A second postcard from Britta ;) The first card didn't arrive on time, so I've received second one. Thank you! It's written in swedish, but unfortunately I don't understand it ;p Anyway it's nice and it joins my collection ;) 

33. Germany

The card below was sent from Germany, but it shows a typical house of Danish town called Ebeltoft. The place seems to be very nice and I could live in a house like this... for some time ;p Britta, who sent the postcard has spent there a few days during her holidays ;)

32. USA

*** This postcard came from Missouri, USA. 

It shows "The Christ of the Ozarks" located on Magnetic Mountain in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The sculpture looks a little bit strange, so it's not surprising that it's sometimes called "Milk Carton With Arms". Despite this it is still placed on postcards and probably worth seeing ;p ***

*** A beautiful postcard from Bert, who loves animals ;) It presents two cute St. Bernards. I always like those dogs! This card arrived from Netherlands and it was written in english, polish and italian. Grazie mille Bert! La tua cartolina e bellissima. Buona giornata! ;) ***

I received this card from Pete, who lives in UK. It shows Ca'Savio beach, close to Cavallino, just north of Venice. It looks like worth a visit ;)
By the way... Italian postcards are my favourite ;D

Mmm, it looks really delicious ;D This postcard brings to my mind memories of a beautiful sunny weather ;) I hope that this summer there will still be some days like this... autumn can wait a little bit ;p

***A direct swap from Mariana, who lives in Brazil. This postcard shows the city view of Rio de Janeiro with the Sugar Loaf on the background. The Christ is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It can be seen by far from many places. Rio de Janeiro is a city which I'd like to visit one day ;)***

Pocztówka z prywatnej wymiany z Marianą pochodzącą z Brazylii. Na tej kartce widać panoramę Rio de Janeiro z Sugar Loaf (górą, śmiesznie nazwaną po polsku "Głowa cukru") w tle. Pomnik Chrystusa jest symbolem miasta należącym do siedmiu cudów świata. Podróż do Rio de Janeiro to jedno z moich marzeń, lecz jak na razie mogę pooglądać je sobie tylko na pocztówce ;p

25. Australia

 

Moja druga kartka z Australii, równie śliczna jak ta pierwsza! Widać na niej Wielką Rafę Koralową widoczną nawet z kosmosu, która jest największa na Ziemi pojedynczą strukturą wytworzoną przez organizmy żywe. Wygląda niesamowicie i jestem pewna, że na żywo jest jeszcze wspanialsza.

A postcard form The Netherlands, which suffered a little bit in my mailbox because of the rain. Fortunately it's still in one piece and I can put it on my blog ;) I really like that it's so colorful and shows a beautiful landscape. You can clearly see that it's from The Netherlands.

The first "stamp" is my postcrossing avatar. Such a funny idea! ;D

Pocztówka z Holanii, która z powodu deszczu nieco ucierpiała w skrzynce na listy. Na szczęście przeżyła w całości i mogę umieścić ją na moim blogu ;) Bardzo podoba mi się to, że jest bardzo kolorowa i pokazuje piękny krajobraz. Od razu widać, że to Holandia ;)

Pierwszy "znaczek" to mój avatar z Postcrossing'u! Zabawny pomysł ;D

Pocztówka, która przedstawia Ponte Vecchio nad rzeką Arno we Florencji. Otrzymałam ją od Marii, która mieszka we Włoszech. Pozdrowienia dla niej! ;)

22. Wielka Brytania-Anglia

***A private swap from Margaret, who lives in Devon in South West England. It shows a beautiful scenery by the coast of North Devon. A very funny story in connected with this postcard. We both could laugh at it ;) ***

Pocztówka od Margaret, która mieszka w Devon w północno-zachodniej Anglii. Widać na niej piękną scenerię na wybrzeżu północnego Devon. Z tą kartką związana jest bardzo zabawna historia, z której obie mogłyśmy się śmiać ;)

Summertime in Lapland.

 ***Second Italy-themed postcard from Rosslyn :) It shows The Italian Chapel, which was built by Italian prisoners of war who were in Orkney to help build the Churchill Barriers. It is almost entirely built from recycled materials.***
 

Druga pocztówka o włoskiej tematyce od Rosslyn :) Widać na niej The Italian Chapel-kaplicę, która została zbudowana przez włoskich jeńców wojennych, którzy przybywali na Orkadach aby pomóc zbudować Churchill Barriers (betonowe zapory łączące wyspy, których budowę zlecił Winston Churchill). Kaplica prawie w całości zbudowana jest z surowców wtórnych.

18. Wielka Brytania-Szkocja

***This is a private swap with Rosslyn, who sent me two postcards from a little Scottish island-Orkney. Knowing that I love Italy she chose Italy-themed cards for me. This one shows a lion-shaped gargoyle, which is at the Orvieto Cathedral in Italy.***

 

Ta kartka jest z prywatnej wymiany z Rosslyn, która przysłała mi dwie pocztówki z małej szkockiej wyspy Orkney. Wiedząc, że kocham Włochy wybrała dla mnie kartki o włoskiej tematyce. Na tej widać rzeźbę w kształcie lwa, która znajduje się na Katedrze w Orvieto we Włoszech.

Pocztówka z Kobe-międzynarodowego miasta portowego położonego na wyspie Honsiu w Japonii. Kobe jest szóstym co do wielkości miastem i czwartym najbardziej ruchliwym portem w Japonii.

Abstrakcyjna kartka z Tajpei w Tajwanie. Właściwie nie wiem co ona przedstawia, ale jest ciekawa i budzi wyobraźnię ;) Natomiast znaczki są śliczne!
